As a member of the artistic creative collective, under the artistic direction of choreographer and dancer Benjamin Millepied, I worked for the first time, with choregraphers on transforming a narrative on colonial history and memories into dancing performances. 11 international choreographers were invited to reanimate the ghosts who illuminate the present through fragile, vibrant dancing bodies.

If monuments inscribe official narratives in the concreteness of stone, La Ville dansée invited 10 international choreographers to reanimate the ghosts who illuminate the present through fragile, vibrant dancing bodies. From Grigny to Saint-Ouen, from morning till night, these ephemeral creations traced a unique and innovative way of writing history through the body.
